The European Geothermal Energy Council (EGEC) and Geothermie-Suisse are delighted to announce that the European Geothermal Congress (EGC) will be held on 6-10 October 2025 in Zürich, Switzerland. The European Geothermal Congress is the largest geothermal congress in Europe, representing the geothermal field in all its diversity: power, heating & cooling, storage, lithium and minerals. It includes high level sessions, technical sessions, workshops, networking, an exclusive gala dinner, trainings and site visits. It is a rich programme that covers the diverse contributions of geothermal to decarbonation and energy security, and the latest advancements in geothermal technologies.
